A proven leader in complex manufacturing environments, Barry has a passion for continuous improvement, diagnostic problem solving, and unlocking the talent of the people he works with. Born in Manchester, he is candid, resourceful and detail-orientated, with 30 years experience in business re-engineering, optimisation and capital investment.

Joining Constellation Brands in 2019, Barry is responsible for all wine production across the region for leading brands such as Kim Crawford and Selaks. In this role, he has oversight of two wineries, winemaking, vineyard operations, national engineering, health & safety and environmental sustainability functions.

Barry brings executive level experience from organisations such as Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Massey Ferguson, has managed production start-ups, acquisitions, integrations, and turnarounds. During his career he has worked across Europe, leading manufacturing operations, global product support and aftersales, building strong cultures in safety and quality, and leading teams of over 200 people.

Having worked across a number of countries, Barry enjoys any travel especially when paired with activity and adventure. When he is not working, you can find him enjoying a beer or glass of Pinot Noir with friends, mountain biking, hiking or out for a run.
