About

Tom Kane is Constellation’s executive vice president and chief human resources officer reporting to Bill Newlands, president and COO. He is responsible for the human resources function worldwide to ensure that all initiatives support the company’s vision, mission, values and strategic imperatives on a global basis. Tom is a member of the executive management committee.

Tom joined Constellation in May 2013 in his current role. Throughout his career, Tom has gained experience in multiple global businesses in a range of industries, from industrial products to government services to consumer hard goods. Before joining Constellation, Tom worked at Armstrong World Industries, a flooring and ceiling business with over 9,000 employees and 30 manufacturing facilities in over 30 countries. At Armstrong he held various leadership roles, most recently as senior vice president, human resources & government relations. Tom worked at Black & Decker Power Tools Division as global vice president for human resources for nine years. He also has career experience at General Electric and Martin Marietta.

Tom has also held various civic leadership positions including vice chairman of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, board member of Sandtown Habitat for Humanity and the Green Brier Distillery, and volunteer for the Lancaster County United Way. Tom currently serves on the board of directors for FoodLink in Rochester.
